NAKODAR: The Mehat Pur police today arrested a juvenile on the charge of raping 65-year-old women. The Station House Officer (SHO) Mohindar Pal said that the accused has been identified as Amarindar Singh alias Kaka a resident of Ramuwal village.
The victim complained to the police that the accused barged into her house on June 19 night tied her legs and arms and forcibly raped her after threatening her with dire consequences.
SHO said a case under section 376(rape) 457(housebreaking by night to commit offence punishable with imprisonment.) and 506(criminal intimidation) has been registered against the accused.
