Four unidentified booked for snatching Rs 1.7 Lakh, tablet from bank employee

NAKODAR:The Nakodar city police have booked four unidentified motorcycle borne
accused in the charge of snatching Rs 1.7 Lakh and a tablet from a
bank employee.
Tasavar Ali a native of UP state and presently living in Ashok Vihar
colony, Nakodar and an employee of a bank complained to the police
that he was returning to his officer with his colleague after
collecting installments of bank loans from colony when four
unidentified motorcycle borne accused waylaid him and snatched his
kitbag containing Rs 1.07150 and a tablet and fled away.
The investigating officer Mohan Lal said that a case under sections
379 –B (snatching), 392(robbery), , 341(wrongful restraint) and
34(committing crime with common intention) of the IPC has been
registered against the accused.
Broad daylight snatching incident has created a sense of insecurity
among residents and put a question mark on police patrolling and
functioning
