NAKODAR : The Nakodar city police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling poppy husk.
DSPP Nakodar Harjinder singh said that 10 kilograms of poppy husk was recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Jiwan Sharma a resident of Vikas Nagar , Shahkot.
IO said that a case under NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and impounded a motorcycle (PB-67-D-4337) on which he was traveling with the contraband.
