NAKODAR: The Nakodar sadar police have an Amritsar village resident on the charge of kidnapping a minor girl.
The investigating officer Kewal Singh said that the accused has been identified as Jarmanjit Singh a resident of Saran village under Mattewal police station Amritsar
Paramjit a resident of Bopa Rai Kalan village had complained to the police that that accused had kidnapped his minor daughter by inducing her.
IO Kewal Singh said that a case under sections 363 (kidnapping) and 366-A ( procuration of minor girl ) of the IPC was registered against the accused.
