SHAHEED BHAGAT SINGH NAGAR: The case was registered by ASI Amarjit Kaur who was patrolling in a private vehicle from village Kariha to Malpur while she was patrolling in connection with the police party.
On the way to the side, when the police party crossed the railway line from village Kariha at around 1-25 PM and reached the village Mallpur Arka side about 200 meters ahead, a woman from village Mallpur Arka side holding a heavy plastic bag in her right hand. A pedestrian was seen approaching and a search was conducted and 07 kg of poppy seeds were recovered from him. The case was registered.
