Commission for Protection of Child Rights issues advisory for school children of Chandigarh.

CHANDIGRH: The chairperson, Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights sent a advisory in view of increasing temperature to the Secretary, Education, Education Department, Chandigarh Administration and passed instructions to all government and private schools of Chandigarh to ensure compliance of the advisory.

It states that the mercury is soaring up day by hence it is crucial to take necessary precautions to stay safe. It further states that it came to the notice of the commission that some schools of Chandigarh have fixed time for children to play in the sun.
Keep the above in view it has decided to issue advisory for school children interest.

1- Limit the children to the sun of pre-nursery and primary especially during peak hour.
2- In place of outdoor activity should carry out with the chiodren.
3- Installation of CCTV cameras in all classes of pre nursery and primary.
4- Schedule out door activities during cool time. Ensure adequate shade for these activities.
5- Watch out signs of heat related such as dizziness, nausea, headache or rapid heartbeats. If any child shows these signs seek medical help immediately.
