Chandigarh state NSS and AYUDH organizes online yoga practice session

CHANDIGARH: State-NSS Open Unit and PU-NSS in collaboration with AYUDH India organized 14-days Online Yoga Practice session for NSS UT Chandigarh to mark International Yoga Day on June 21, 2021, NSS and AYUDH came forward to host national workshop on ZOOM app platform. Yoga sessions will start at 6:30 am in the morning to 7:30 am.

The programme was inaugurated on June 7 which will last up to June 21 with an objective to incorporate Yoga into our daily lives, rejuvenate the body and mind which prepare us to face any adversities resulting in depression. During the inagural session Br. Mokshmrota Chaitanya briefly discussed how community can deal COVID-19 factor with Yoga at Home. NSS volunteers under the guidance of Dr. Sucha Singh and Er. Binesh Bhatia looking after the whole event for all
necessary support among NSS and AYUDH India. These sessions are creating awareness about importance of health and well being in our daily lives, said Dr Sucha Singh.

Advisor cum Mentor to NSS Open Unit Mr. Bikram Rana (Ex-OSD Education) congratulated the team for the collaborative efforts. Yoga facilitator Barhamachari Harsamrita Chaitanya is training more than 500 volunteers every morning on daily basis. NSS volunteers from Open Unit and Panjab University highlighted that daily workshop starts the day with yoga practice which will helps them to reduce stress and anxiety.

Volunteers are motivated to make it a habit to wake-up early and practice yoga. Volunteers also pledged to aware community about the Yoga and its positive impact on our life.
