Vaccination Camp organised in DAV College

PHAGWARA: MLU DAV College Phagwara organised vaccination drive for students and faculty members due to covid 19 under the guidance of Dr.Kiranjeet Randhawa, principal of the college. It is important to insure immunisation and safety of students against covid 19 so that they can be able to attend classes offline.

Keeping the present situation in view and directions of Punjab Government, it is mandatory that every student and staff member of the college must at least be vaccinated once. Dr.Randhawa directed the teachers to encourage the students for vaccination because staff and students should be vaccinated at least their first dose of vaccine before resuming classes.  As we are experiencing now with covid 19, pandemics are scary, life changing and affect much more than just our health and daily lives. Vaccines protect against diseases that have the possibility to become pandemics, and by continuously vaccinating, it is even possible for diseases to become completely eliminated. Vaccines create immunity in the body and protect against many dangerous viruses and diseases. Vaccines, in general, are effective in limiting the spread of diseases by providing immunity. The instructions of the government were followed and camp dedicated to youth. As situation is improving, it is high time to open colleges and everyone is ready to take all the precautions including hand sanitization, theremal screening. Students get vaccinated as teachers encourage them for their health and study and they can also be able to aware others. The purpose of organising the vaccination camp against covid 19 was fulfilled fruitfully.
