RBU collaboration with UK varsities likely

MOHALI: Dr Parvinder Singh, Vice-Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University, and Gurinder Bahra, Vice-President of the Rayat Bahra Group of Institutions (RBGI), explained the possibilities of educational collaboration between the RBU and universities in the United Kingdom at a conclave organised in Delhi.

The two senior Rayat Bahra University functionaries were part of a high level delegation sent by the Punjab Department of Higher Education. The delegation comprised top level officers of state universities and some private universities.

The functionaries deliberated on ways and means to initiate the process of India-UK Higher Education collaboration in the context of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 International-ion.

Rayat Bahra University Vice-Chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh and Gurinder Bahra VP had exhaustive brainstorming sessions with VCs, Directors, policy makers and senior functionaries of University of London,
University of Nottingham, University of Leeds, University of Birmingham, and University of Kent.

According to Dr Parvinder Singh the 20 years academic achievements of the Rayat Bahra University were highly appreciated and many of these UK universities expressed their interest to have long term collaborations in health science, Environment science and students exchange programme will be a highlighting feature.
