AMRITSAR:The Post Graduate Department of English, Khalsa College, today organised a Literary Quiz for the students of B.A. (Hons.) English, M.A. (English) and Elective English students of Humanities. Around 150 students took part and apprised themselves about the latest in English Literature, said Dr. Mehal Singh, Principal, Khalsa College.
Prof. Anupam Sandhu, Head of the Department said the program commenced with the recitation of the College Shabad and students were apprised about co-curricular activities for their holistic personality development. Prof. Supninderjit Kaur, the co-ordinator of the program stressed on rising literary interests amongst the students. Prof. Parneet Dhillon, Prof. Sawant Singh Manto, Prof. Daljeet Singh, Prof. Vijay Bernard, Prof. Gurpreet Singh and Prof. Harsh Salaria were present.
Conducted by Prof. Gurpreet Singh students Sehajpreet, Pawanpreet Kaur, Mansi Soni and Isha organized the event on their own and the results would be declared later, said the authorities.
