AMRITASAR:Khalsa College of Engineering and Technology (KCET) today signed a pact with `CloudKampus’, a Chennai based MNC for collaborations to enhance industry-academia relationship. Under the MoU, the College’s students will get a chance to interact with renowned academicians and industry experts through various Faculty Development Programs, workshops, webinars, and seminars, said Dr Manju Bala, Director, KCET.
She said the CloudKampus has presence in 37 countries and an expert in the field of education-industrial relations. “The company, which is more than 35 years old, provides software training, project management, training and assist in the development of the Centre of Excellence. The students, she said, will get the certification of various additional courses under this MoU. Not only this, students will also get support for training as well as placement, she added.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Manju Bala and Lokesh Kumar, Business Development Manager, CloudKampus. Others present included Er. Bikramjit Singh, Registrar, P. Prasant, Deputy Dean, Industry and Academia, Dr. Jugraj Singh Deputy Dean, T&P, Er. Sandeep Singh and Er. Jaspreet Singh.
