Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, conducted the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to B.Ed.

AMRITSAR: As per the directions of the Punjab govt., Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, conducted the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to B.Ed. Course in all the colleges affiliated to all the Universities of Punjab, viz, GNDU, Amritsar, Panjab University, Chandigarh and Punjabi University Patiala, on 31/7/2022.

There were 42 centres constituted in 12 districts where 12981 candidates appeared, and 12911 candidates qualified in the Entrance Test for admission to B.Ed. (2022-23) after the result was declared on 8 August, 2022.

In the wake of non-delaration of results of UG final semsesters by various Universities, the Advisory Committee, constituted for admission and Counselling for B.Ed., in its meeting held on 4/8/2022, rescheduled the counselling for B.Ed. Course to facilitate all the eligible candidates, and revised Counselling Schedule was updated on the official web portal meant for the B.Ed. admission.

Dr. Amit Kauts, Coordinator of B.Ed. Entrance and Counselling, has informed that all the aspirants/candidates of B.Ed Course must invariably update/upload their marks obtained in the final UG/qualifying degree semester examination result alongwith the choice of their colleges on the B.Ed. Admission Portal till 8 September, 2022.The Coordinator further added that the Provisional merit list will be displayed on the portal (punjabbedadmissions.org) on 9th September, 2022 for admission.
