AMRITSAR: Guru Nanak Dev University Teacher's Association Election for the year 2021-22 will be held on Decemeber 7, 2021. Dr. Preet Mohinder Singh Bedi, Prof. Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences has been nominated as Returning Officer.
Prof. Hardeep Singh, Dean Academic Affairs said that Dr. Satnam Singh Deol, Associate Professor, Department of Political Science will conduct the elections at Jalandhar. Similarly, Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Professor, School of Social Sciences will conduct the election at Gurdaspur and Dr. Ravinder Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics Technology will be responsible to conduct election at ASSM College, Mukandpur.
He said that the voters from GNDU Regional Campus Sathiala, GNDU College, Verka, Chung & Patti will cast their vote at Guru Nanak Dev University main campus, Amritsar.The voters from GNDU College, Sujanpur, Kalanaur, Pathankot, Niari and Narote Jaimal Singh will cast their vote at GNDU Regional Campus, Gurdaspur and voters from GNDU College Mithra, Jalandhar and Nakodar will cast their vote at GNDU Regional Campus, Ladhewali, Jalandhar, he added.
For the election of President Dr. Dalbir Singh Sogi, Department of Food Science & Technology and Dr. Lakhwinder Singh, University School of Financial Studies are contesting and for election of Secretary, Dr. Nareshpal Singh Saini, Department of Physics and Dr. Vikram Sandhu, University Business School are in the field.
However, for the post of Vice-president, Dr. Davinder Singh, Department of Psychology, for the post of Joint Secretary, Dr. Jatinder Kumar, Department of Mathematics and for the post of Treasurer, Dr. Baljinder Singh Bal from department of Physical Education have been elected unopposed as Office Bearers and members of the executive of GNDUTA for the year 2021-22.
Dr. Barinderjit Singh, GNDU College Niari, Dr. Gurshaminder Singh Bajwa, School of Social Sciences, Dr. Maninderpal Singh, Department of Civil Engineering, Dr. Manwinder Singh, Department of Guru Nanak Studies, Dr. Manjit Singh, ASSM College Mukandpur and Dr. Sukhdev Singh, Department of Physical Education are also elected unopposed as members of GNDUTA for the year 2021-22.
