MOHALI: It was a splash of colours at the 5th Founders’ Day celebrations of the Rayat Bahra International School. A cultural fiesta marked the magnificent and splendid function which showcased exquisite performances by the students.
The function commenced with the welcome of the guests and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chairman of the Rayat Bahra Group of Institutions. A galaxy of distinguished personalities including madam Manjeet Kaur Bahra, Vice-Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University Dr Parvinder Singh including MC, s panchs & sarpanches , other prominent members and the parents were present on the occasion.
Gurvinder Singh Bahra speaking on the occasion said that it was a proud moment for the school to celebrate its 5th Founders’ Day. He said that the school students had been doing exceedingly well both in academics and co-curricular activities.
He appreciated the efforts put in by the students who made the day special by their vibrant performances and multifaceted talents.
School Principal Abhilasha singh highlighted the significant growth and achievements of the students in the curricular and co-curricular activities.
The well decorated stage with special sound and light effects, dazzling costumes added magic and left the audience mesmerized. The star attraction of the day was Gidha & Bhangra which left the audience clapping with zeal and excitement.
The Kindergarten students performed various power packed dances which were theme based. Students of 1st standard performed Dance which was followed by various performances by the students.
