CBSE to sensitise teachers to teach digital tools

CHANDIGARH: Keeping a step forward, the Central Board of Secondary Education has taken an initiative to sensitize teachers across the country on the basics of Financial Literacy and the use of Digital Tools that are relevant in the current scenario. The Board carried out this session in multiple schools in tricity.

In Moti Ram Arya School sector - 27, Chandigarh, the session started with Gayatri Mantra, remembering the Almighty. After that, Principal Dr. Seema Biji, enlightened the audience with her speech. The resource person for the workshop was Mr. Ashwini Kumar Puri. In this session, they focused on creating awareness about essential financial planning, how to avoid falling prey to phishing and cyber frauds, etc.
They helped educators to stay updated to plan their future in a better way. This initiative was part of activities related to the Investor Education and Awareness Initiative in terms of SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996.
Various school educators registered themselves for the workshop. The resource person shared his knowledge about how educators can manage their finances and invest in better financial policies. It was indeed a knowledgeable and informative session. In his session, Mr. Ashwini talked about the term insurance, fixed deposit, and various other financial schemes which will be beneficial for educators. It was an interactive session with multiple cross-questioning by the educators. The session ended with a vote of thanks and followed by high tea.
