PHAGWARA:Cambridge International School, Phagwara celebrated KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS
on 26 July 2022. Celebrated the sacrifice and martyrdom of our armed
forces that brought laurels to the nation during the Kargil War against Pakistan in1999.
The Kargil Victory was very beautiful portrayed with spell bounding
thought by Mishti of 3c and poem by Ishika of 4b . Students were
enlightened about the war through a captivating topic presented by
Mannat of 5e. The show stopper was the tribute to solider which was
portrayed by the tiny tots of Grades 1-2 .They presented a role play
depicting the life of a soldier and the loss which his family bears
after his sacrifice on the battle ground. The program ended with a
patriotic dance presented by the boys of grades 3-5 which made
everyone dance to the beats.
Chairperson Mrs. Jasbir Kaur Bassi appreciated the students and
motivated them to be prudent towards India. Principal Mr. Jorawar
Singh graced the occasion by congratulating all the participants and
inspired the young minds to actively join the armed forces once they
grow up.
