15 RBU students get placements in top IT companies

MOHALI: Hexaware, a global leader and fast-growing company, has selected 15 candidates from the Rayat Bahra University on an annual package of Rs 4 lakh. Another two candidates have been picked for placement on an annual package of Rs 6 lakh.

Hexaware Technologies Limited is a leading global provider of IT services, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Rayat Bahra University for training of students and exchange programme.

Disclosing this here today, Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University and Chairman of the Rayat Bahra Group of Institutions (RBGI), said that the MoU would greatly benefit students of the university. The students would be trained according to industry needs. Representatives of Hexaware will come to the university campus every year in the month of February and they will provide industrial training to the faculty members.

Dr Parvinder Singh, Vice-Chancellor of the university, said the MoU would greatly benefit both the students and the faculty of the university.

The MoU was signed by the Chairman of the RBGI in the presence of Vice-Chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh and Katyani Shukla, Director of Corporate Relations of the Rayat Bahra Group & Amit Atwal (Director Corporate Relations) and DR.H. S Dhami .

Also present on the occasion were Saugata Sen, Vice-President, HR, and Avinas Talreja, Campus Lead. From Hexaware.
