Indian author KS Banwait's book to be released in Washington DC on April 6

CHANDIGARH: The second edition of journalist and author Kamaljit Singh Banwait's book, 'Mukhmantri Beant Singh de qatal picho-  Kaal Kothrian da Sirnava' is set to release on April 6, when National Sikh Day parade will be organised at Capitol Hill, Washington DC, USA.

The event is being organised by World Sikh Parliament and Sikh Coordination Committee, East Coast (an umbrella organization of the Sikh gurudwaras and Sikh jathebandis, USA). Coordinator of the event Himmat Singh Gill said, "The book will be available for sale at the event".

The first edition of the book was released in Chandigarh, India on February 21. The book talks about the life of convicts behind bars after the incident. It includes memoirs of the author who attended the hearings of the court case and met the then accused multiple times. It also includes interesting anecdotes about the Model Burail Jail and it's inmates.
