CHANDIGARH:Third seed Udit Kamboj won the men’s singles final in the Rs one lakh CLTA-AITA National Ranking Tennis Championship at the Sector 10 Tennis Stadium here.
Udit defeated fifth seed Neeraj Yashpaul in straight sets 6-4, 6-4. Both players played a high intensity match. Udit maintained his momentum throughout the match. Udit Kamboj played some intelligent shots in crucial points and he also rushed into the net in some important big points. Finally Udit closed the match in straight sets. In the men’s doubles final Sam Chawla and Deepender Grewal won double title. They defeated Shubh Negi and Torus Rawat 6-3, 6-2 in straight sets.
