KAITHAL: Haryana State Rice Miller and Dealer Association President Amarjeet Chhabra along with his wife Ambika Chhabra have given the message to the society to donate their bodies by filling the body donation form here Today, on the occasion of Mahashivratri festival, International Women's Day and his own birthday, Chhabra filled the body donation forms.

On this occasion, Chhabra said that on March 4, 2022, his mother Sumitra Devi Chhabra had left this world. His mother had filled the body donation form only 8-10 years ago. When she died on March 4, 2022, his family handed over his body to the doctors of the Research Center in Chandigarh PGI. Taking this tradition forward, his son Amarjeet Chhabra has now inspired the society to donate the body by filling out the body donation form. He believes that life is a gift from God and should be useful to humanity while alive and even after death. Chhabra has set an example in the society by filling his body donation form along with his wife Ambika Chhabra.

Amarjeet Chhabra said that Mata Sumitra Devi Chhabra was associated with Dera Beas, who even during the Corona period, without caring for her life, made masks with her own hands on a machine and distributed them among the people for the welfare of humanity. Food was also prepared for the affected people and satsang was provided at home. He said that when his mother's body was handed over to the doctors at PGI, Chandigarh posthumously, only 109 bodies had been donated. Ever since PGI was established, according to the doctors there, very few healthy bodies were found which were like mother's, otherwise those who died due to drowning or accident were found only on request.

Amarjeet Chhabra said that Mataji's life was also successful and even after her death, he took the inspiration from Mataji and ran a campaign in Kaithal. He said that in the last two years, 62 voluntary body donation forms have been filled from Kaithal itself and this trend will increase further. He said that now he will go to people across the state and inspire them to donate their bodies. From his family, elder brother Harcharan Singh Chhabra and his sister-in-law Saroj Chhabra have already filled their body donation forms. Along with this, friends and eminent people of the society celebrated the birthday of Amarjeet Chhabra with simplicity by cutting the cake at Shiv Vatika.
