70th senior national basketball championship from december21

LUDHIANA:The 70th Senior National Basketball Championship (boys & girls) would be organized at Guru Nanak Stadium Ludhiana from December 21-28, 2019, which would be dedicated to the 550th Parkash Purab celebrations of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. All arrangements in this regard have been completed and all four basketball courts in the stadium have been upgraded with the support of Punjab government.

With the efforts of Cooperation and Jails Minister S. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, the Punjab Government had given 550 trees on the eve of 550th Prakash Purb of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

Haryana CM announces to transfer 9.75 acres land to Gurdawara Chilla Sahib

CHANDIGARH: After paying obeisance to Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji on his 550th Prakash Parva, Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal today announced that land measuring 9.75 acres would be transferred to Gurudwara Chilla Sahib, Sirsa where Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji has spent 4 months and 13 days during his journey. Ownership rights of Land, which at present rests with the State Government, would be transferred in the name of Gurudwara as per the policy of the State Government.

Equality among all people is one of the primary principles of Sikh Dharma introduced by the 1st guru, Shri Guru Nanak Dev. From his first utterance after his moment of liberation, Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji preached, as there is only One God, so we are all equal, regardless of how we worship. He was a visionary in the way he encouraged people to rise above any socially imposed limitation and work for the emancipation of mankind as one entity.
