Villagers' delegation appeals to DC for safe return from Russia
KALAYAT(Kaithal) : About half a dozen youths who went to Russia from village Mataur for jobs have been thrown into the Russia-Ukraine war. Instead of providing jobs, these youth have been recruited into the Russian army. In such a situation, these youth are forced to struggle just to save their lives, far from earning good money.
In the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, about half a dozen innocent youth of village Mataur are trapped in the war. The family has appealed to DC for the safe return of the children. According to the information received from the family members, one of them, Sahil, has been injured in the war and is undergoing treatment in the army camp. The youth trapped in War Zone are contacting their family members and the Government of India for help on social media. Sahil's father Dilbagh alias Bagha, resident of village Mataur, told that about two months ago his son Sahil and five to six youth of the village had gone to Russia in search of better employment. In Russia, youth were hired in the army with the promise that they would be kept away from war zones. But after a few days, their passports were hidden and they were pushed into the Ukraine-Russia war zone.
Sahil's family member Balram told that Sahil was contacted through WhatsApp calling four-five days ago. He had told that he had also been injured in the war and was in the army camp. The family members have appealed to the Central Government for the safe return of their children stranded in Russia.

On Saturday, under the leadership of Sarpanch Ramesh Kumar. The delegation of villagers like Balbir Singh, Dilbag, Aman, Ajay, Mandeep etc. informed DC Prashant Panwar about the entire matter. He told that 6 youth from village Mataur - Baldev son of Mahendra, Rajendra son of Phool, Mohit son of Ved Prakash, Manjeet son of Pala Ram, Ravi son of Ramniwas, Sahil son of Dilbagh who are stranded in Russia. He has appealed to DC for the safe return of the youth
