KAPURTHALA:The Punjab Government would now provide the services related to the Transport Department in the “Sewa Kendras”also. This was stated by Deputy Commissioner Kapurthala Deepti Uppal while talking to this correspondent here today.
She said that the Punjab government has now started providing these services in the Sewa Kendras apart from this the people would be provided the benefit of services in 22 service centers of the district.
The Deputy Commissioner said that these services include Duplicate Driving License, Renewal License, Address Change, Replacement License, NOC, Renaming Driving License, Mobile Update, Conductor License Renew, Online Tax Registered, Transfer, New Tax Registered Transfer. There are 35 types of services like Duplicate RC, Address Change, NOC Other State, Check E-Payment Status etc.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the objective of the Punjab Government and the district administration was to save the people from itching and under this many services were being provided under one roof. She asked the staff working under the service centers to ensure compliance of protocols for prevention of corona virus in the service centers.
She said that no negligence should be tolerated in providing services to the people
