AMRITSAR: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has strongly condemned the efforts of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to disrupt the spiritual environment of the place by installing more screens for his advertisement on the heritage road leading to Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib.
Advocate Dhami said that it is a matter of regret that Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Mann has installed more screens on the heritage road leading to Sachkhand Sri Harimandar Sahib to promote his advertisements, which is an attempt to disrupt the spiritual environment.
He said that the surroundings of Gurudwara Sahibs have a religious atmosphere, where the Sangat comes only to listen to Guru Sahib's teachings. There should be only the light of Gurbani and not the darkness of the so-called achievements of the government. He said that Mr. Bhagwant Maan is not even sparing the surroundings of the Guru houses where a large number of people come to pay obeisance with devotion.
The Shiromani Committee President said that objections have been sent by the Sangat regarding the screen installed at the main door of Gurdwara Sri Santokhsar Sahib.
He said that these screens put up for government advertisements against Sikh morals and sentiments of the Sangat should be removed immediately.
