CHANDIGARH: The latest revelations would prove to be last straw for Badals who have been fully exposed in front of Sikh community for their misdeeds, said President of Punjab Youth Congress, Brinder Singh Dhillon adding time is not far when father-son duo will be in jail.
Mincing no words, Dhillon said the latest claims by Dera followers have proved once again that it was Badals who hatched conspiracy to desecrate holy Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji which is not tolerable.
In a press statement, Dhillon said fact that they did this most heinous, inhuman and shameless thing for their petty political gains speaks of their respect for the Guru and Sikh Sangat whose feelings and sentiments they have hurt. People of Punjab want justice and want these culprits to be punished.
Referring to claims made by a Dera follower, Dhillon said it is clear pardon was arranged by Badals for dera head in return of promise for votes. The admission by Dera followers has established beyond any doubt that a deal was struck between Sukhbir and Dera Chief as per which the latter was granted pardon and his movie was screened across the state, much to the dismay of Punjabis.
The silence of Sukhbir Badal over these allegations is direct admission of their guilt and misdeeds for which Punjabis won't ever forgive them, added Dhillon who has written to Sri Akal Takht Jathedar demanding Badals' excommunication from Panth over this grave act of commission. In his letter, Dhillon said that the Jathedar Sahib has summoned the people who have worked against the basic fundaments of Sikhism and punished them as per the law of Sikhism but when it comes to Sukhbir Badal no action is ever taken against him.
Dhillon said that Sikh religion is known its unique and upright approach towards the humanity but Sukhbir Badal has used the glorious institutions of Panth for political gains. The revelation of dera followers that Sukhbir has exploited the dera follower for winning elections exposes his sincerity towards the Sikh religion.
Pointing out that Punjab Police was working in right direction and investigations were on right track, he said Captain Amarinder Singh government would ensure nobody involved in this heinous act is spared.
