PSPCL Tariff - No major change in tariff for the year 2020-2

CHANDIGARH: Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission has issued the tariff order for the current financial year with effect from June 1. There have been no major changes for the consumers of any category of consumers only minor changes have been made in some places.

The domestic consumers have been given relief of 50 paise per unit in the first slab of 100 units and 25 paise per unit in next slab of 101 to 300 units. The fixed charges for load of  2 KW to 7 KW  and above hs been increased by RS. 15/KW, and for 7KW to 50 KW it has been increased by Rs. 25 per KW.

 The agriculture tariff for agriculture consumers has been increased by 29 pise per unit with decrease of cross-subsidy fro 17.82% to 14.41%.This will increase the subsidy amount payable to PSPCL.

There has been no change in fixed charges og industrial units. The rale of large supply and power-intensive units has been increased from 7 paise per unit to 22 paise per unit.
