No dearth of funds to ensure all round development of villages : Balbir Singh Sidhu

There would be no dearth of funds to ensure the all-round development of the villages falling in the District and all amenities would be provided to them on priority." These views were expressed here today by the Health and Family Welfare Minister, Punjab, Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu while presiding over a meeting of the 25 village Panchayats at the office of Zila Parishad.

While reviewing the development-oriented initiatives being undertaken in the villages, Mr. Sidhu instructed the officials of all the departments to make sure that the development centric funds are utilized to the maximum extent and no laxity in this regard would be tolerated.

The minister on the occasion distributed cheques worth more than Rs. 50 lakhs to the panchayats of Jagatpura, Baliali, Daon, Chapparchiri Khurd, Chapparchiri Kalan, Bathlana, Shafipur, Rurka, Raipur and Manakmajra villages.

Riar, Chairperson Zila Parishad Mrs. Jaswinder Kaur Durali, Ex-Sarpanch Bariali Mr. Kulwant Singh, Chairperson Panchayat Samiti Kharar Ranbir Kaur, Block Congress Committee Mohali (Rural) leader and Member Zila Parishad Thekedar Mohan Singh Bathlana, Vice Chairman Block Samiti Kharar Mr. Manjit Singh Tangori, Sarpanch Jagatpura Mr. Ranjit Singh Gill, Mr. Kulwant Singh Bariali, Sarpanch Raipur Mr. Mohan Singh, Sarpanch Daon Mr. Ajmer Singh, Sarpanch Chapparchiri Khurd Rajbir Kaur, Sarpanch Gidarpura Mr. Jaswinder Singh Pappa, Sarpanch Rurka Mr. Harjit Singh Dhillon, Sarpanch Shafipur Mr. Ramandeep Singh, DDPO Mr. D. K. Saldi, BDPO Mr. Hiten Kapila, and Secretary Zila Parishad Mr. Ravinder Singh.
