CHANDIGARH: Congress party high command has called Navjot Sidhu to Delhi tomorrow. Navjot Sidhu is likely to meet Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi in connection with ongoing tussle between Sidhu and Punjab CM Capt Amarinder Singh.
Amarinder Singh had already met Rahul Gandhi and gave account of performance of his government.
Sidhu has been accusing Capt Amarinder for shielding mining and drug mafia. Sidhu was targeted by Capt Amarinder supporters by putting posters of 'Captain ta ikk hi hunda hai' , Supporters of Sidhu and Partap Singh Bajwa also put hoardings to stake their claim.
AICC high command had formed a three member committee to resolve the dispute between Sidhu and Amarinder. This committee has recommended to accommodate Sidhu and make changes in PPCC leadership.
Congress high command is trying to convince Sidhu to join government but he has declined the offer saying he can't work with Amarinder. Party may take final decision in a day or so, sources said.
