NAWANSHAHR:Deputy Commissioner (DC) Vishesh Sarangal reviewed the disposal of old pending cases in various courts of the district and instructed the heads of all departments to maintain proper records of cases for speedy disposal.
Presiding over a meeting with heads of various departments to review implementation of Punjab Dispute Resolution and Litigation Policy 2020, the Deputy Commissioner further directed them to more deeply scrutinize cases regularly with constant consultation from District Attorney (DA).He also asked them to maintain proper records of each case and must meet DA a day before hearing for making positive improvements. He also said that this would also help to dispose of the cases.Sarangal told a mechanism would be evolved to ensure that better presentation of the cases in the courts so that cases can be cleared without unnecessary delay.Deputy Commissioner also told them to prepare themselves about complete facts of each case. Prominent among present on the occasion included SDM Deepak Rohilla, DA Satnam Singh, DDPO Davinder Singh, District Employement Officer Sanjeev Kumar and District Program Officer Gurwinder Randhawa.
