Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal along with 92 MLAs paid obeisance at Golden Temple, Durgiana Temple

AMRITSAR: After winning the Punjab Assembly elections, Bhagwant Mann and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal along with 92 MLAs paid obeisance at the Golden Temple on Sunday.

The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) honored Punjab Chief Minister-designate Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal Chief Minister of Delhi with siropa at the Information Office at Sri Harmandir Sahib Complex.

Bhagwant Mann, who was the Chief Ministerial candidate in Punjab, will take oath on March 16. Bhagwant Mann had announced that he would take oath in Khatkar Kalan, the ancestral village of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, instead of taking oath at Raj Bhawan.
Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal also paid homage at the historic Jallianwala Bagh and Durgiana Temple.

It may be recalled that the swearing in ceremony of the new government would be held on March 16 at Khatkar Kalan, the ancestral village of the great freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won a landslide victory in the Punjab elections with 92 seats, pushing most of its opponents to the margins. The Congress has won 18 seats in the 117-member assembly.
