AMRIK SINGH | March 03, 2022 06:43 PM

AMRITSAR: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami Criticizing the Kejriwal government in Delhi for obstructing the release of Davinderpal Singh Bhullar said the anti-Sikh face of the Aam Aadmi Party has now been exposed over the Bhullar case.

He said that the cancellation of Bhullar's release is unfortunate, which has provoked outrage among the Sikh community.

The SGPC president said that the review board had not made it clear that What is their problem with Bhullar's release? He said that on the one hand, during the Punjab elections, Kejriwal and his party leaders in the forthcoming meeting of the review board. There was talk of taking a decision on Bhullar's release, but on the other hand, during the board meeting, the decision was reversed. This is the truth of the Kejriwal government in Delhi towards the Sikhs, which they cannot deny.

Advocate Dhami said that Kejriwal has always been anti-Sikh and this was evidenced by the fact that he did not get a single Sikh minister in the Delhi government.

The SGPC President said that on the occasion of the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev ji, the Government of India had announced the release of Sikh prisoners who had served long sentences. Davinderpal Singh Bhullar's name was also included. Sadly, the Delhi government is pushing the Sikhs against this decision of the Indian government. Advocate Dhami appealed to the Government of India to intervene to stop the anti-Sikh activities being carried out by Kejriwal.

He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should issue an order to the Delhi government in this regard so that the Sikhs who have been in jail for decades could be released soon.

He said that In the case of Bhullar's release, the Government of India should issue strict instructions to the Government of Delhi.
