All office bearers and academic heads of Khalsa College Governing Council express grief over the demise of Jatinder Brar

AMRITSAR: All office bearers of Khalsa College Governing Council and heads of each institution have expressed deep grief over the demise of renowned Shiromani playwright and recipient of many prestigious awards, Jatinder Brar.
Brar, who was playing his important role as Additional Honorary Secretary of the Governing Council, made his significant contribution to theatre and literature as an On this occasion, Honorary Secretary of the Council and Pro-Chancellor of Khalsa University, Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina, expressed his sorrow over the sudden demise of Brar and prayed to God to grant the family members the strength to follow the Guru's will.
He said that his services rendered to the Governing Council are invaluable and can never be forgotten.
He said that Brar was born in village Jagdev Khurd in Amritsar, and was a successful industrialist and an accomplished stage artist, playwright, painter and a great writer. He converted his factory in front of Khalsa College into a theater and established a revolving stage here for the promotion of art and literature.
He said that Brar's demise left a void in the world of art and literature, which can never be filled.
He said that due to Brar, many actors including Kapil Sharma, Bharti Singh, Rajiv Thakur and Chandan Prabhakar are making their talent known to the world due to this platform.
He said that Brar's departure is an irreparable loss, but even though he is not physically among us, he will always be remembered through his thoughts, art and writings.
Meanwhile, the principals, teaching and non-teaching staff of all Khalsa College educational institutions under the Governing Council expressed their condolences to the family of Jatinder Brar on the demise of Jatinder Brar.
