AMRITSAR: Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, President of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has strongly condemned the attack Mastan Singh's family.
He demanded the government of Pakistan and especially the Okaf Board to take stern action against the attackers.
The SGPC President said that the attack on the Sikh leader and his family by the land mafia was a major blow to the minority Sikhs and the perpetrators should be severely punished.
If in Pakistan family of a well known Sikh leader like Mastan Singh is not safe then how can ordinary Sikhs be safe.
He asked the government of Pakistan to pay special attention in this regard and ensure the safety of the Sikhs living there.
Advocate Dhami also appealed to the Government of India to talk to the Government of Pakistan at the diplomatic level and take appropriate steps to protect the lives and property of Sikhs.
