NAWANSHAHR:The results of the Covid tests which came in the district late last night found 7 reports positive, including those of 5 persons from abroad and one from Bihar.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Rajinder Prasad Bhatia said that 5 persons who have returned from abroad and have been found positive, are staying in State Quarantine Centers at KC College, Nawanshahr and Ryat College, Rail Majra and they belong to Sarhal Qazian, Ghumman, Teacher Colony Balachaur, Mahindipur and Kangana Bait.
Similarly, a person who came from Bihar has tested positive in Anokharwal village while a young man from Mahindipur who got himself tested at Flu Corner in Nawanshahr District Hospital, has tested positive. He said that all of them were being shifted to Guru Nanak Mission Hospital, Dhahan Kaleran. He said that now there are 23 active cases in the district while the two cases referred to Patiala and Amritsar last evening add up to 25 cases in the district.
