PHAGWARA: A major tragedy was averted and two persons escaped unhurt when a Srinagar(J&K) bound Mini School Bus suddenly caught fire near Toll Plaza Ladhuwal in wee hours today.
The Bus Driver Arvinder Harwal and his cousin Ajay stopped the burning bus and jumped out. The Bus was completely damaged in the fire. Ajay ran to take help of Fire Brigade from Toll Plaza and fire tenders could control the fire. Arwinder said that were returning to Srinagar after got modifying the bus from Indore. Short Circuit could be the cause of fire. Long queues of vehicles were seen stranded due to road blockade owing to this tragic incident.
