CHANDIGARH:The Shiromani Akali Dal today asked Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, to tell Punjabis during her visit to Punjab tomorrow what her husband's association with Swadeshi Jagran Manch was like. There is a connection.
It may be recalled that Mrs. Sunita Kejriwal is coming on a visit to Punjab on February 11.
Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here today, Harcharan Bains, Principal Secretary to party President Sukhbir Singh Badal, made sensational revelations about Kejriwal's RSS affiliation. He said that Mr. Kejriwal had not only been participating in the meetings of Swadeshi Jagran Manch and was training the ideology of RSS but he had also been the spokesperson of this forum.
Mr. Bains also asked Ms. Sunita Kejriwal to come up with written answers to the questions being asked from her.
Mr. Bains asked him what is the connection of Mr. Kejriwal with the Swadeshi Jagran Manch of RSS? He also questioned whether he was aware that Mr. Kejriwal had not only been participating in training camps but had also been its spokesperson.
He also said that RSS leader Govind Acharya himself had said that we were secretly working with Mr. Arvind Kejriwal who was working to advance our ideology. He asked, "Is it right for Mrs. Sunita to come up with this answer?"
He also said that in the last election held in Delhi, posters of Bajrang Dal leader Deepak Madan were displayed in Delhi with a picture of Modi on one side and a picture of Kejriwal on the other. He said that it was a matter of time when Kejriwal had contested the elections against Modi. He also said that it was written on the poster that support Kejriwal to join the RSS campaign.
Mr. Bains said that as a Punjabi he welcomes Mrs. Sunita Kejriwal on his arrival in Punjab but he wants answers to some of the questions which he really wants.
Mr. Bains said that Mrs. Kejriwal should also tell the Punjabis why their mother tongue was stopped being taught in Delhi schools. Explain why the sports quota of Gatka, the first martial art game started by Guru Gobind Singh ji is not being recognized when the Central Government has recognized it all over the country. He said that Punjabis wanted some answers and hoped that Mrs. Sunita Kejriwal would answer these questions in Punjabi.
