SGPC honours Bilawal Singh, a young Sikh enlisted in the Indian Army

AMRITSAR: Sikh youth enlisted in the Indian Army Bilawal Singh Sandhu along with his family paid obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib and thanked Guru Sahib.

Meanwhile, on arrival at the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee office, Mr. Bilawal Singh and his family members were received by the President of the SGPC Bibi Jagir Kaur and Senior Vice President Surjit Singh Bhitewad honoured Guru Bakhshish Sirpao (robe if honour )and Golden Model of Sri Darbar Sahib.

She congratulated the family of Bilawal Singh and said that the achievement of the Sikh youth was a source of pride for the nation.

She said that Sikh youth like Bilawal Singh were enhancing the prestige of the Sikh community from whom the youth and children should take inspiration.

Meanwhile, Bilawal Singh's grandfather Karnail Singh thanked the SGPC for the honour..

It may be recalled that Bilawal Singh Sandhu, a youth from Malunangal village in Amritsar, had recently joined the Indian Army as a Lieutenant. His family members said that this was possible only due to the blessings of Guru Sahib.

On this occasion, Senior Vice President Mr. Surjit Singh Bhitewad, Member Harjap Singh Sultanwind, Deputy Secretary. Dr. Tejinder Singh Padda, OSD Amrik Singh Latifpur, Dr. Sukhbir Singh, and other were present.
