Delegation of Sikhs,Hindus from Afghanistan and Pakistan settled in India meet Manjinder Singh Sirsa, thank PM and HM for CAA

CHANDIGARH: Chandigarh, March 13: A huge delegation of members of Sikh and Hindu community from Pakistan and Afghanistan who have settled in India met BJP National Secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa today and expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah for implanting Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) granting them Indian citizenship and other facilities at par with Indians.

Members of the delegation said that this was a huge decision for their lives by the Modi government as they can now live life of peace and contentment and work towards progress and prosperity of their families. They said that never in the history they have seen such a government who cares for everyone and works for betterment of everyone rising above political thinking.
Talking to the media on the occasion, Mr. Sirsa said that only those who have experienced or are experiencing trauma can truly understand the depth of pain and suffering of Sikhs and Hindus who were forced to flee Pakistan and Afghanistan due to government and local atrocities. He said that these families have been rescued from a virtual hell by the efforts of PM Mr. Modi led government.

He said that today they came to meet me and expressed gratitude for the Govt’s decision to implement CAA, which will grant them nationality and a life of peace and stability. He said that they have wholeheartedly thanked Mr. Modi and Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah for this blessing.

Slamming Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for his allegations of being rapist, Mr. Sirsa said that it was shameful to see how dirty politics he is doing. He said that he is terming those very Sikhs as rapists whom he repeatedly made requests during COVID times and it was members of Sikh community who were on the forefront to help every human being whether with langar or oxygen langar or whatever was requirement of the people. He said that Kejriwal should be ashamed of his statement and he should immediately withdraw his statement.

On the occasion, Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) General Secretary Mr. Jagdip Singh Kahlon and other members were also present.
