Two nurmahal village residents booked for poisoning to death a teenager

NAKODAR:The Nakodar sadar police have booked two Nurmahal village residents on the charge of poisoning to death a teenager.
Station House Officer(SHO) Sikandar Singh Virk said that the accused have been identified as Harshal @  Soma and Rannjit Singh @ Jeeta, both  residents of Sanghe Jagir village under Nurmahal police station .
Sukhwindar Singh a resident of Littaran village and parental uncle of the deceased Paramvir Singh (17) complained to the police that his nephew studying in metric went outside from his house on November 24 at around 11 A.M but did not return back.
He said that he along with his aunt and mother of the deceased began search to locate Paramvir and they came to know that the accused Harshal and Rannjit took along Paramvir with them on their motor cycle after parking his motor cycle in front of a hair cutting shop of Sukhdev Lal who sent two- wheeler to house in the evening.
Sukhwindar Singh said three went to nearby village Shankar and sold Paramvir’s mobile hand set for Rs 2000 at Sandhu Telecom shop and went somewhere on their motor cycle .He said that he came to know that a dead boy is lying in cremation ground of Littaran village and when they reached there and found the body of Paramvir Singh. He said he is confident that both accused administered some poisonous substance to his nephew which killed him and dumped his body in cremation ground in fear.
SHO said after receiving the information the police reached on the spot and recovered the body and sent it to Nakodar civil hospital for post mortem and registered and a case under sections 304(culpable homicide not amounting to murder) 201(causing disappearance of offence) and 34(committing crime with common intention) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused and raids are being conducted to nab them.
