Voter awareness rangoli made at international airports in Punjab

AMRITSAR: Under the able leadership of Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Ghansham Thori Chairperson Sweep-cum-Additional Deputy Commissioner (Urban Development) Mr. Nikas Kumar outlined the program to increase voter participation in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections-2024.

As a series of related activities, the local voter awareness rangoli was made at Guru Ramdas International Airport, Rajasansi.The theme of which was 'Vote Kar Amritsar.' Dawns come and go, In which hundreds of passengers travel.Keeping in mind the influx of people, this exclusive voter awareness effort has been done by the district administration.

After visiting the airport, Rajesh Kumar said that a large-scale awareness campaign has been started by the District Election Office keeping in mind the upcoming Lok Sabha electionsHe said that the main purpose of making this rangoli is to make common people arriving at international airports and Indian citizens living in foreign countries aware about the Lok Sabha Elections-2024He said that many efforts are being made by the Chief Election Office, Punjab for the convenience of the voters, in which the voter helpline app, toll free number 1950 is the main one.
