AMRITSAR: BJP candidate Taranjit Singh Sandhu today filed Nomination papers for Amritsar Lok Sabha seat in the presence of EAM Dr.S.Jaishankar in the office of Deputy Commissioner cum District Election Officer Mr. Ghanshyam Thori.

Sandhu said that he will make arrangements for the development, industry and trade of Amritsar. Efforts will be made to improve the sewage system of the city and increase the income of farmers and all sections. He said that according to the model of Guru Sahib's Siddhant Pavanu Guru Pani Pita Mata Dharti Mahatu, the city will be made clean and hygienic like Indore and the infrastructure of the city will be strengthened.
Earlier, a road show was conducted by BJP candidate Sandhuto file his nomination papers. He arrived at the district court in a large convoy from the local novelty chowk, Lawrence Road.

This is the first time that Amritsar witnessed a rally of pure BJP.
