Bengal by-poll: Trinamool leading by over 15,000 votes

KOLKATA: Trinamool Congress candidate Gita Rani Bhunia was leading by over 15,000 votes over the Left Front nominated CPI-M aspirant Rita Mondal on Sunday in the initial counting of the by-poll to the Sabang Assembly constituency in West Bengal.

The state Election Commission (SEC), Punjab today directed the concerned Deputy Commissioner cum District Electoral officers and Additional Deputy Commissioners Development-cum Additional District Electoral Officers of Municipal Corporation, Municipal council/ Nagar Panchayats to prepare / revision of electoral rolls for the coming general elections of 3 Municipal Corporations and 32 Municipal Councils/Nagar Panchayats.
