MOHALI: The University School of Law, Rayat Bahra University organised an expert Lecture on `Career Prospects for Law Graduates’. The lecture was delivered by PS Khurana, an advocate practicing in the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.
He comprehensively explained the various modes to achieve multiple career options available to Law graduates. Earlier, students were offered courses in civil, criminal, corporate, taxation, labour and election law. Today new options included more specialisations such as cyber, intellectual property, and international laws, he added.
He emphasized that the students should adopt a practical approach towards their decision making regarding profession. It should be based on honesty, dedication and passion. His mantra for the students was “Peaceful mind is the key to success in personal and professional life”.
Earlier on his arrival, Khurana was welcomed by Vice-Chancellor Dr Daljit Singh and Dr Jaspreet Kaur Majithia, Head of the Department of Law. The students found the lecture nformative and motivational which could help them in choosing their mentors and careers.
