“French play L’ Avare staged at LPU

 The Department of Foreign Languages at Lovely Professional University (LPU) organized dramatization of world-renowned French playwright Molière’s farcical comedy ‘L’ Avare’s at LPU Stage, today. The occasion was French Theatre Show- “L’ Avare (the Miser)” presented at Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium of the University.

KMV-the Heritage and Autonomous Institution, Jalandhar's PG Department of Chemistry organised a One day National Seminar on “Science for Sustainable Development” under DBT Star College Status. EC-Council confirms 33 LPU Students as ‘Certified Ethical Hackers’

JALANDHAR: World's largest Certification Authority ‘EC-Council’ has recently certified 33 Computer Science Engineering students of Lovely Professional University (LPU) as‘Certified Ethical Hackers’.This Certification is recognized worldwide and has received endorsements from various government agencies including the U.S. Federal Government. According to Sr. Director Steven Graham at EC-Council, the average starting salary for a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) is 95,000 US Dollars (approximately Rs 66 Lakh) per annum.

More than 200 Students Awarded Degrees at SGTB College Convocation

The occasion was ‘Akhil Bhartiya Lok Kala Mahotsav-2019’ organized at Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium   of the university. For this, nationally renowned 60 artists of Karnataka Sahasa Kala Academy (Bangalore) & All India Folk & Tribal Art Parishath (New Delhi) presented their scintillating performances to mesmerize all among the audience. Ministry of Culture (Government of India) & North Zone Cultural Centre (Patiala, Punjab) supported the event.

Athletic meet organised at KCET

To instill the spirit of sportsmanship and to enhance the physical fitness and social skills, the 6th Annual Athletic Meet was held at Khalsa College of Engineering and Technology (KCET), here. The meet was dedicated to the 550th Parkash Purab of Guru Nanak’ Dev Ji and the function got off to a spectacular start with flag hoisting and releasing of colourful balloons into the air.

KCW, KCL Students Shine in Varsity Exams

The students of Khalsa College for Women (KCW) today brought laurels for the institution by bagging top positions in University examinations in their respective subject. Student Harmanpreet Kaur of M.Com stood 1st in Amritsar and 3rd in GNDU while 8 students of M.Com Sem-1 passed with distinction. Chanpreet of PGDFS stood 1st in GNDU and Gagandeep stood 2nd in GNDU examinations, said Principal Dr. Manpreet Kaur.
