KAITHAL: In village Sirsal of Pundri area, a youth raped a woman by forcefully entering her house and threatening her. The youth made casteist remarks against the victim and also threatened to kill her.
On the complaint of the woman, the police have registered a case of rape, threat to kill and under the SC/ ST Act against the youth. In the complaint given to the police at Pundri police station, the woman alleged that Sanjay, a youth from her village, forcefully entered her house by climbing the wall of her house on Thursday. The youth threatened her and forcibly raped her and also threatened to kill her if she told anyone. After the rape, the accused also abused her using casteist remarks.
Even earlier, Sanjay had forcibly raped her but then she did not tell anyone about it out of fear. Pundri police station in-charge Sub Inspector Rajkumar said that on the complaint of the woman, an FIR has been registered against Sanjay in the rape case. At present Sanjay is said to be absconding.
