SHAHKOT:The Shahkot police today arrested a woman drug peddler on the charge
of selling poppy husk .
The investigating officer (IO)Lakhvir Singh said that 250 grams
poppy husk were recovered from the possession of the accused
identified as Ranni a resident of Talwandi Butaiyan village.
IO said that a case under sections 15 /61/85 of the NDPS Act has
been registered against the accused.
The Lohian Khas police have arrested drug peddler Gurwindar Singh a
resident of Yusaaf Pur Darewal village and recovered from him 5 grams
opium and impounded his motor cycle on Monday said IO Savindar
Singh.
