NAKODAR:The Nakodar sadar police have arrested an accused wanted in a case of
rape, extortion and cheating after more than two years of registration
of a case against him.
The investigating officer (IO) Narindar Singh said that the accused
has been identified as Gurmit Singh alias Pappu Bajwa a resident of
Saidu Pur village.
IO said that a case under sections 376(rape) 384(punishment for
extortion) 420(cheating) and 452 (house trespass ) of the Indian Penal
Code was registered against the accused on October 23 , 2019.
