PHAGWARA: The Phillaur Police has succesfully traced a car snatching case and arrested one of the member of Inter-District Gang of Criminals in 24 hours.
Station House Officer Phillaur Neeraj Kumar while giving details told this correspondent here today that the arrested accused was identifiedas Arshdeep resident of Village Udhowal near Phillaur.His two other accomplices were still absconded.
SHO said three accused snatched an White Alto Car number PB-32G-1106, one mobile phone and cash of Rs Three Thousands from a Village Bahadurpur resident Jaspinder Singh near Milk Bar Phillaur on Tuesday.
SHO Neeraj said the police have recovered the snatched car, mobile phone and cash of Rs 700/- from the arrested accused.He said the arrested accused was facing 12 criminal cases registered against him in district Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Kapurthala and Hoshiarpur.A case under section 379B of IPC has been registered against the arrested accused today, said SHO Neeraj Kumar.
