Panel Advocates attached with various courts start working to identify cases for disposal during National Lok Adalat

PATIALA: Following the directions of the District and Sessions Judge, Rajinder Aggarwal, the Panel Advocates attached with various Courts, in wake of the upcoming National Lok Adalat on July 10 have started to identify the cases in which compromise can be effected.
Whereas providing further details, District and Sessions Judge cum Chairman District Legal Services Authority, Patiala, Rajinder Aggarwal told here on Tuesday that to ensure that maximum litigants to approach the Courts for putting up their cases for settlement in the Lok Adalat, the request made to the panel advocates deputed with various Courts have got overwhelming response as they are making strenuous efforts with collaboration of officials of Courts to identify the cases (both Civil and Criminal) in which compromise could be effected.
Meabwhile the Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Patiala Parminder Kaur further said that after identifying the cases, panel advocates will contact the advocates representing the parties in those cases and they will assist the courts in getting the matter resolved through compromise. Panel Advocates are playing a very important role in identifying the cases.
