NAWANSHAHR: As per the instructions of National Legal Services Authority and Hon'ble Member Secretary Punjab State Legal Services Authority S. A. S. Nagar, A meeting was held under the supervision of District and Sessions Judge, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Ms. Priya Sood and CJM-cum-Secretary S. Kamaldeep Singh Dhaliwal with various departments of District SBS Nagar i.e Lead Bank Manager, District Revenue Officer, DSP (Traffic), RTO SBS Nagar, BSNL SBS Nagar, XEN PSPCL, XEN Water and Sanitation Department, SDO Water and Sanitation Department, Incharge Women Cell SBS Nagar, Incharge Sakhi One Stop Centre, Labour Inspector SBS Nagar, Executive Officer Nawashehr, Banga, Balachaur, Traffic Incharge Nawashehr, Banga, Balachaur, All the Managers of Insurance Companies and Finance Companies of the district regarding the upcoming National Lok Adalat scheduled to be held on11.05.2024.
During this meeting, Mrs. Priya Sood, Ld. District and Sessions Judge Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar directed all the members that as per the instructions of the National Legal Service Authority and under the guidelines of the Punjab State Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar, National Lok Adalat is scheduled to be held on 11.05.2024 in the District SBS Nagar and directed to all the members to send maximum number of cases in lok adalat which may be mutual settled at the judicial and pre-litigative stage. She disclosed that in this national Lok Adalat, BSNL cases, insurance company related cases, finance cases, bank loan related cases, traffic challans, water bills, criminal compoundable cases, cheque bounce cases, motor accident claims cases, tribunal cases, matrimonial disputes, labour disputes, electricity cases and other cases will be taken up in National Lok Adalat. Apart from this, she added that if there is any problem to file a case in Lok Adalat, then the office of District Legal Services Authority, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar can be contacted and can also be contacted on 01823223511. Apart from this, all the officials present in the meeting were requested to send maximum cases related to their respective departments in this National Lok Adalat so that they can be resolved by mutual settlement between the parties.
